That's a news we introduced at Vinitaly 2022: new label of SELECTION LINE wines in which you may find:

In ancient Arabic, "Mocavero" means "Warrior" ⚔,, that's why we choose a "knight" for the new label of "Curtirussi", -name of an ancient feud in the countryside of Monteroni di Lecce (where the Mocavero's were born) and Arnesano (where now the Company is)
From the baronial palace of 1500 in the square in Monteroni di Lecce, our "knight" is leaving to fight for not only of "Curtirussi", but above all of the authentic values of taste and tradition!

A red knight. "Red Negroamaro".
Strong, brave, he stands as a defender of the intense taste of tradition.

A 100% Negroamaro aged in oak barrels. Rich and harmonious, balanced tannins with spicy and red fruit hints.

CURTIRUSSI PRIMITIVO ROSATO
PINK. No belief system. Free from any cultural imposition.
Pink is not "a color for girls"!
We are beyond any definition of genre and we are open to new expressions and visions!
Who is hiding behind our knight? A man? Maybe a woman if dressed in pink? ?! (- 🏇💙💚💛🧡 A Knight has no genre, a noble soul is the matter!)
Just as we are beyond any pattern by which only only women drink rosé wines!
And the Rosato Primitivo surprises palate, sense of smell, mind!
CURTIRUSSI PRIMITIVO ROSATO is a powerful yet delicate wine. Under the strong armor of the Primitive a sweet soul is born!
Primitivo is an important and powerful red grape which and its pink version (the must is left to macerate in contact with the skins only for for a few hours long) is captivating, intense, warm and harmonious, with a soft and persuasive fruit, well balanced by the freshness, the finish is of good persistence.
CURTIRUSSI VERDECA
A white Knight, or rather Green (Verdeca) 💚🤍!
Clear and transparent, it reveals its noble and elegant character, this Knight loves its territory!
It defends the honor of the ancient Verdeca vineyard, jewel of the Apulian whites, in the Itria Valley!
The subtle backbone, the elegant fabric reveal the fullness of character of CURTIRUSSI VERDECA, wide and intense bouquet, soft and delicate, harmonious, dry on the caressing base, between acid and sweet.
Each knight 🏇🟧🟩🟥 has a different story, each vine has its own particularity but all of them has only one aim: they fight for the values of Taste!
